Samwu‚ Pikitup take another shot at ending strike

Johannesburg’s waste management company Pikitup has made a new offer to its striking employees‚ and the two parties are holding a meeting on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the offer‚ according to Paul Tlhabang ‚ the South African Municipal Workers Union deputy general secretary of the Gauteng region.Tlhabang would not discuss the details of the new offer but said there were serious issues in the offer that the union disagreed with and wanted clarity from the management of Pikitup on these.
