Second body found in Sundays River

The body of the second swimmer who drowned in the Sundays River‚ Eastern Cape‚ on Tuesday was recovered by authorities on Friday afternoon. The two men‚ aged 20 and 22‚ were part of a group of 11 enjoying an outing at the popular river venue near Cannonville. The tragedy occurred at about 2pm after four of the men decided to have a swim in the river.Metro emergency medical services‚ together with police divers and search-and-rescue teams‚ have been combing the river banks since the 22-year-old disappeared. According to authorities‚ a boat assisting with the search found the 22-year-old’s body in the shrubs along the river bank about 4.5km from where the drowning happened.The body of the 20-year-old was recovered by police divers late on Tuesday afternoon. - TMG Digital..
