Conditions of parole can only be set by minister

If Chris Hani murderer Janusz Walus were to be successful in applying to be placed on parole next week‚ conditions for his release can only be set by the correctional services minister. The High Court in Pretoria on Thursday dismissed an application for leave to appeal by Justice and Correctional Services Minister Michael Masutha against a decision ordering the release of Walus on parole.
