Just over a week after reports emerged that the controversial Gupta family had left the country for Dubai, their compound in Saxonwold remains under heavy guard and nobody seems to know where they are.

The Gupta brothers, Ajay and Atul, apparently slunk out of South Africa at 11pm on a Thursday night‚ days after they‚ and President Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzani‚ resigned from the board of Oakbay Resources and Energy.
With enough luggage for 20 people‚ the Guptas left in their private jet from Lanseria airport‚ near Johannesburg‚ according to a weekend newspaper report.
