“All shall be equal before the law‚” unionist Zwelinzima Vavi commented‚ as he was acquitted of speeding.
He appeared in the Edenvale Magistrate's Court after being arrested in October for allegedly driving at 207km per hour on the R24 highway – which has a 120km/h speed limit.
On Wednesday‚ a relieved sounding Vavi tweeted: “Court found ZV not guilty of speeding and reckless driving charges. State case dismissed - all shall be equal before the law”.
