Europe's favourite fleshy tax dodger Gerard Depardieu is the star of the continent's first Netflix original series. Marseille follows the fortunes of the port city's mayor Robert Taro played by Depardieu. Following Netflix's expansion into countries around the world earlier this year the series is one of 12 original series that the channel is producing in Europe and Latin America.
