Bonds slightly weaker ahead of auction

The South African bond market was slightly weaker on Tuesday morning ahead of the Treasury’s bond auction later in the morning.The bonds on offer are the R2035 (R800m)‚ the R2037(R750m) and the R2040 (R800m)."Demand has been robust from an offshore perspective‚ which should see good demand and relatively strong clearing levels this morning‚" Rand Merchant Bank analyst Deon Kohlmeyer said.
