Violence cannot be the solution to people's problems

The use of violence to settle differences is the biggest threat facing this nation, 22 years after the arrival of democracy. It continues to set us back, particularly with regard to the destruction of social infrastructure.This week members of the Vuwani community in Limpopo torched 13 schools, a satellite police station and tribal offices after losing a High Court case to have their area remain under the Makhado municipality.
