South African drug mule arrested on arrival from Dubai

A 32-year-old South African woman was arrested by police officers at the OR Tambo International Airport shortly after she arrived from Dubai for possession of cocaine weighing 5‚7 kilogrammes and valued at R1‚6 million‚ the SAPS said on Monday.Police found the stash of drugs hidden in tins "which were nicely sealed"‚ during a joint operation consisting of members of the South African Police Service’s Trans International Investigation Unit‚ Tactical Response Team‚ Intelligence and K9 Units (on Friday night)‚ SAPS spokesman Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo said.The woman was due to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday to a charge of dealing in drugs."We have established from her passport entries that she has been a regular visitor abroad‚" Naidoo said...
