Police step up efforts to curb violence at Glebelands and KwaMashu hostels

Police have carried out raids on Durban’s notorious Glebelands and KwaMashu hostels in an effort to try to curb the internecine violence that has plagued the two hostels for the past few years. Police have also vowed to continue with operations until normality returns to the hostels and the “wrongdoers” are behind bars.
