Info leaked from SA bank used in Japanese fraud scheme

Standard Bank is the South African bank referred to in Japanese reports as the institution whose data leak resulted in almost R200-million being stolen from ATMs in Japan‚ BDlive reported on Monday. "The South African banking operations of Standard Bank Group have been the victim of a sophisticated‚ coordinated fraud incident‚" it quoted the bank as saying.
