Man set alight in protest near Pretoria‚ second struck in head

Two people have been killed in a violent community protest in Hammanskraal north of Pretoria‚ police confirmed on Monday. Police Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena said: "I can confirm that two people have been killed. One was hit with a blunt object at the back of his head while the other was set alight". "We are continuing to increase the police presence to bring the whole situation under control‚" Mangena said. Violence broke out on Monday morning when people started illegally occupying land across various areas in Hammanskraal‚ and resisted efforts to remove them.Three Starline buses were torched and cars were stoned...
