Rape-accused teacher released on bail

The former Clarendon Primary School teacher who was arrested on a rape charge and two sexual assault charges laid by three different plaintiffs last Wednesday is out on R5,000 bail.One of the three plaintiffs is a minor who has laid a sexual assault charge.The accused was granted bail at the East London Magistrate's Court at a formal bail application hearing on Tuesday morning after the state did not oppose bail.
