VIP protection cop shot by three men in Cape Town

A police sergeant attached to the VIP Protection Unit was injured when he was shot in Cape Town after his shift ended on Tuesday. Hawks spokesperson Major Robert Netshiunda said the 35-year-old was approaching traffic lights in Delft at 10.30pm when three men fired shots‚ injuring him in the lower abdomen.
