Islamic State is using the internet cat craze to lure potential jihadists and spread messages of hate online, the US's top terrorism prosecutor has warned. General John Carlin, the US assistant attorney, said IS fanatics knew that "kittens sell" and had used them in images of fighters online. He added that IS also showed jihadists handing out Nutella to children in "soft focus" images to counter their barbaric reputation.Carlin, who is the most senior national security prosecutor in the US, said there was a contrast between IS's gruesome beheading videos and their recruitment videos."There is one that shows a young, charismatic terrorist filmed in soft lens literally handing out candy floss to children.
