More than 30 injured in three-taxi pile-up

Three taxis collided at an intersection‚ injuring 32 people including school children in Johannesburg on Tuesday. ER24 paramedics‚ along with various other services‚ found the three taxis in the intersection of Main Reef and Elias Motswaledi roads in Roodepoort.Passengers were found walking around at the scene of the crash and sitting on a nearby embankment.The road had to be closed due to the number of patients and vehicles.“It was discovered that 32 patients had been injured in the collision‚ their injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Some of the patients were children‚ aged between 10 and 18‚ on their way to school‚” said ER24.The passengers were treated and taken to various hospitals for treatment...
