South Africa is flirting with recession and the government is talking tough about its planning for the country's economic hub, Gauteng. At a conference in Sandton yesterday, Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa threw their weight behind a plan to boost Gauteng and with it the rest of the nation.
