Narcotics busts hit a high

SARS customs officials have been hitting drug traffickers hard of late, with a number of large seizures.But no one knows the true size of the narcotics trade in South Africa, so it is difficult to asses the impact of the busts.This month customs officials have seized drugs with a street value estimated at R17-million in three hauls.
