Airline caterer’s staff strike over ‘ill-treatment of workers’

About 550 workers from LSG Sky Chefs – which provides catering services to international airlines – are striking against alleged “bullying and shouting” at staff. Workers belonging to the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (Numsa)‚ the National Transport Movement and the SA Transport and Allied Workers Union are demanding that the company institute disciplinary action against a senior manager for her alleged “ill-treatment of workers”.
