Who is Jacques LaGrange?
A proudly South African fashion designer with a European flair for the good things in life. Having the title king of couture, my designs are spread across the world, with 80% European clients. A country boy who happens to be in the fashion world. A designer who wants everything to be well made.
What evolution does your ready-to-wear show exhibit?
To make it more appealing for a younger market but retain the Jacques LaGrange flair. It is younger, playful and fun - but stylish and elegant.
Why stock at The Bromwell?
As this is a new venture, I like to keep things small but elegant. It also targets the right kind of client, the kind of lady I want to dress.
Any new projects in the works?
I was asked to be an ambassador for the International Dressage this year. I'm showing at the Durban July next weekend and seeing wedding clients from Dubai and Angola next month.
