Chaos on Cape Town’s N2 as ANC members protest over councillor candidates

Cape Town commuters were caught up in traffic chaos early on Friday as protesters burnt debris‚ closing the N2 highway near the airport leading in to the city. Protestors‚ venting their anger over candidates chosen to represent them in the local government elections‚ torched two busses in the same area on Wednesday.
