KZN ANC candidate shot dead in front of family

The local government election race in KwaZulu-Natal continues to be deadly with the killing of an ANC ward candidate on Saturday.The party said yesterday the gunning down of Thembi Mbongo, 35, a candidate for Ward 6 outside Osizweni was an orchestrated campaign to derail the ANC in Newcastle and Amajuba.
