NFP supporters arrested during poll exclusion protest

The police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested as many as 20 people for public violence following a protest action by alleged National Freedom Party (NFP) members. The Electoral Commission disqualified the NFP from participating in the August 3 local government elections after they failed to meet the payment deadline to take part.
