Baby found dead in lake on West Rand

A newborn baby was found dead in Florida Lake in Roodepoort west of Johannesburg on Tuesday afternoon.ER24 paramedics were contacted by police after the baby was apparently found floating in the lake. “Upon arrival at the scene‚ paramedics found the premature baby on the bank alongside the lake wrapped in a space blanket.“Upon assessment of the baby it was found that there were no signs of life. The baby was declared dead‚” ER24 said. It said the exact details surrounding the infant’s death were unknown...
