Cheese and quince saffron pastries INGREDIENTS2.5ml ( tsp) saffron threads125ml ( cup) tepid water280g (2 cups) cake flour10g (1 sachet) instant yeast80ml ( cup) vegetable oil2.5ml ( tsp) sea salt30ml (2 tbsp) olive oil1 onion, minced2.5ml ( tsp) smoked paprika250g strong or blue cheese, cubed70g quince paste (membrillo), cubed1 large egg, beaten, for glazingMETHODSoak saffron threads in tepid water for 1-2 minutes.
