It sits on a shelf. The darkened visor of the dull white helmet reflects the room's surroundings: rows and rows of military paraphernalia from bygone eras and their wars. Military uniforms, decommissioned World War1 rifles, World War2 tank radios, medals for bravery, love letters to sweethearts and Biggles comic books.
