Port Elizabeth policewoman helps deliver baby in her police van

A Nelson Mandela Bay policewoman can add another title to her CV – that of midwife. Constable Magda Bezuidenhout of the Kwanobuhle police station in Uitenhage helped deliver a baby in the early hours of Friday morning. She was on patrol when a frantic woman stopped her vehicle and told her about a woman in labour in Hoyana Street.
