Hospital security in Durban tightened after two protesters were shot dead

Security has been beefed up at KwaZulu-Natal hospitals after two men were shot dead by hospital guards on Wednesday. Seven hospitals in the Durban area have been affected by protests the Health Department said were apparently linked to a decision by the department to absorb some private employees to government systems.
