Commuters warned of protests around Gauteng

Motorists were warned of at least two protests south of Johannesburg on Wednesday morning‚ while commuters were advised that trains on the Katlehong corridor weren’t running. Angry residents blocked roads with burning tyres in Riverlea Extension 2‚ reportedly venting over unfulfilled housing promises although a caller to 702 just after 5am believed it had to do with illegal electricity connections.
