KwaZulu-Natal ambulance base flooded

Not even the men and women tasked with helping out during Monday's heavy storms in KwaZulu-Natal were immune from the inclement weather. Images sent to TMG Digital on Tuesday shows severe flooding at the KZN ambulance services base in KwaDukuza about 70km north of Durban. Other pictures show emergency vehicles and ambulances in the water‚ and others show the aftermath of the flooding.  A paramedic‚ who did not want to be named‚ said that emergency services had only moved into the premises at the beginning of the month The base‚ another paramedic said‚ had been "completely compromised".
