'Overtly sexual ads are not harmful'

Sex in advertising scored in a double win last week. The Advertising Standards Authority ruled in favour of two advertisements - one on radio and the other a billboard - which the complainants argued were sexually explicit. The first complaint was against Matilda's Lifestyle, an online sex shop that was featured on East Coast Radio in June.
