Stillborn boy resuscitated at Diepsloot Fire Station

The teamwork of fire department crews and paramedics was praised after they successfully resuscitated a baby boy born at the Diepsloot Fire Station on Monday night. A statement from emergency service ER24 said a “woman‚ believed to be 30‚ gave birth to the baby at the station”.“Fire department crews had to begin CPR on the newborn as it had no clinical signs of life upon delivery‚” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.
