#FeesMustFall protests shut UKZN campus

University of KwaZulu-Natal management suspended all academic activity on their Pietermaritzburg campus on Monday due to protests over the payment of fees. Vice-Chancellor and Principal‚ Dr Albert van Jaarsveld‚ said there were protests overnight and early on Monday. “The campus was not fully accessible to University staff and students and classes were disrupted‚” he said in a statement.
