Picket outside court over delays in rape‚ murder case

Sinoxolo Mafevuka’s naked body was found dumped in a communal toilet. She had been strangled and raped about 200m from her home in Khayelitsha‚ Cape Town. Two cousins accused of murdering the 19-year-old on March 2 will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrates’ Court on Friday.The Social Justice Coalition (SJC) – a grassroots social movement active in informal settlements across Khayelitsha – and her family will be picketing outside the court in protest over numerous delays in the case.
