'Umlilo' joins 'Ashes to Ashes' on the scrapheap

Call the pallbearers - e.tv is to bury yet another one of its popular shows next month. The channel announced that its award-winning drama series Umlilo is to end. The final episode will air on September 19 at 9.30pm.This is despite Umlilo bagging four SA Film and TV awards earlier this year for scriptwriting, art direction and production design, cinematography, and for best TV drama.
