While Beyoncé was the undoubted queen of the night at the MTV Video Music Awards, walking away with the most gongs, Drake and Rihanna earned the titles of "king and queen of hearts". In a speech that earned a collective "aah" from the audience and Twitter, Drake welcomed rumoured girlfriend Rihanna to the stage as "someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old".
