Liquor thief finds two-year jail term hard to swallow

It was hard for him to digest‚ but a man who helped himself to two bottles of digestif was sent to jail for two years. Kamohelo Makwa felt so queasy that he appealed against the sentence‚ but the Bloemfontein High Court has ruled that he must serve it. Makwa‚ 29‚ was caught stealing two bottles of Jägermeister worth R400 from Checkers in Welkom in December 2014.
