The Italian village of Acciaroli, close to Naples, counts an unusually high proportion of centenarians among its residents - 81 from a population of 700.The average life expectancy in the village is 92 years for women and 85 for men.Researchers who looked into why so many of the villagers have such longevity, presented their findings at the weekend.
