More than 800 arrests in past week in Mitchell’s Plain police cluster area

A total of 804 suspects were arrested during the past week in a continuing clampdown on crime and criminal activities in the eight Mitchell’s Plain cluster policing precincts‚ Western Cape police said.Of these‚ 296 suspects were arrested for possession of drugs during stop and searches and 128 houses were searched for drugs.
