Gidani's application for leave to appeal in lottery case dismissed

The high court in Pretoria on Tuesday dismissed the application by Gidani for leave to appeal against the judgment which sought to set aside the awarding of a lottery licence to Ithuba. Pretoria High Court Judge Billy Mothle refused Gidani an opportunity to appeal against the judgment he had passed in May‚ when he found that the awarding of the lottery licence to Ithuba by Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davies was lawful.
