Paramedics had a lucky escape on Saturday night when a vehicle narrowly missed them while they were at the scene of an accident in which a pedestrian was killed. The pedestrian‚ a man believed to be in his 40s‚ was struck by a bakkie on the N12 in Klerksdorp. While attending to the victim‚ ER24 paramedics heard a screeching of tyres and then witnessed a light vehicle rolling just metres from them. “Once the vehicle had come to a stop on the side of the road‚ paramedics immediately ran over and fond two men inside of the vehicle. Fortunately‚ both men had sustained only minor injuries.“Both men were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment‚” said ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring.TMG Digital..
