Man accused of rigging security contracts with WC government misses court date

A former senior government official who was instrumental in allegedly rigging security contracts worth R35-million in the Western Cape will appear in court for corruption‚ fraud and money-laundering in November. The 52-year-old is a former deputy director in the Department of Community Safety in the Western Cape.
