First day of matric exams in Gauteng goes without incident

The National Senior Certificate examinations (NSC) in Gauteng commenced on Wednesday with no disruptions or any paper leakage reported across the province‚ according to the Gauteng education department. All Grade 12 learners in the province are writing the English paper with other official languages to follow during the day‚ the department said.
