Video of police trap subject of trial-within-trial of Panayiotou murder

Details of how a sting operation came about in which Christopher Panayiotou allegedly implicated himself in his wife‚ Jayde’s murder‚ became the subject of a trial-within-a-trial in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Friday morning. Constable Aldre Koen‚ who was the investigating officer before handing over the reins to Captain Kanna Swanepoel of the Organised Crime Unit‚ said he was sent to Uitenhage on April 29 last year to collect a bakkie to be used in the police trap.
