Arson suspected as woman suffers serious burns in Cape Town train fire

A woman suffered serious burns on Wednesday when a train caught fire in Cape Town.

Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Theo Layne said arson was suspected.

The seriously injured woman‚ who suffered suspected third-degree burns‚ and three other women with minor injuries were taken to hospital.

The train stopped just short of Ottery station with two carriages ablaze.
