SAPS: We need ex-cops to help in fight against deadly crimes

With organised and violent crime on the rise, police are resorting to the re-enlistment of hundreds of skilled officers to bolster their numbers in the fight against deadly criminals.

This move comes as police are launching anti-gang units in the Western Cape, where for years people have been besieged by warring gangs.
