A fire broke out at Paarl’s famous KWV Emporium bottling plant on Tuesday morning.
The local fire department is on the scene, trying to control the blaze.
Wine farmer Kwagga Boucher tweeted that the fire was at the KWV bottling plant "next to the ageing shed".
"Thinking of our friends there . . . it’s not confirmed what happened yet," he added.
