An Mthatha school principal will have some explaining to do to the Eastern Cape education department after turning away pupils who came to school with dangerous weapons in 2018.

The saga began when the 16 pupils allegedly attacked other learners from a neighbouring school, in retaliation for an attack on a fellow pupil.
