From two men attacking a woman on her way to work to finance minister Tito Mboweni’s budget speech, here’s a collection of this week’s top videos.

Daylight robbery

A video showing a Cape Town woman being robbed on her way to work made news as soon as it surfaced. The woman can be seen carrying her bag while on her cellphone, as two men get out of a car and harass her.

Cell phone thief

An unsuspecting Bedfordview man fell victim to cell phone theft as a woman carrying a baby seemingly asked him for directions. He directs her while she sneaks behind his back and steals his cell phone. Police are investigating. 

Minibus taxi overload

The driver of a minibus taxi was arrested by Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Police (NMBMP) when they noticed it was overloaded. The taxi was carrying more than 40 school children. Its capacity is 16. 

Budget speech

Finance minister Tito Mboweni delivered his budget speech in Parliament on Wednesday. The minister touched on Eskom, job creation and school-infrastructure rehabilitation and building.

Superstar teacher

A video showing school teacher Wayne Tewson, from Bracken High School in Alberton, complimenting the work of one of his pupils has gone viral. Tewson shouts: “What is this?” The confused learner responds: “It’s my work sir.” The teacher then says: “This is absolutely brilliant!”
