The #resurrectionchallenge dominated social media after a video of Pastor Alph Lukau "raising" a man from the dead went viral.

In the video the leader of Alleluia Ministries prays for the man in a coffin, and in a matter of seconds the man rises up with his eyes and mouth wide open.

Several funeral parlours have distanced themselves from the incident, claiming that they had no knowledge of the body.

The video received much criticism while others took it as an opportunity to recreate the "resurrection".
